A lot of our "report books" and reference-type material got a TON of in-house use, while fiction would get checked out. I really, really miss that feature. We got all the credit and stats for the book and got a much better sense of how items were being used.<br /><br />Another driver of not checking books out? We had a lot of kids in after school every day and they either didn't have a card because their parent would never come to get one for them or if they did have one, their parent kept it. One group had their adult have all their cards, but they'd only check out on Wednesdays, so lots of in-house use every other day! (We'd also check out books to a branch card and keep them behind the desk so the book and bookmark would still be there the next day if they were in the middle of something)Jenniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02024880986964198385noreply@blogger.com
