I am younger than the other members. So I may have a different prospective. The members had no empathy. I did. I felt she was stuck in early 1900's. If she had a choice she would have suited better now. She may not have left the children. She seems to be a woman that needed something out of her life beside marriage and children. I could see her being wife and mother and being part of the workforce. She really was a feminist during her time. And I think she felt stuck and trapped. Frank was a selfish person, I could call him some other things but I won't. I am not sure if at the end Mameh and Frank were still in love. I did not even know any thing about her. I thought the end was too horrific to be true.<BR/> If Frank cared about her, he would have made sure she was mentioned in his life. Society branded her and not forgot. But Frank, because he was a man was not branded.
