Booklist Webinar Recording Access: Everything You Want To Know About Reviewing for Booklist (But Were Afraid to Ask)

I often get asked by other library workers about how they can get started as a reviewer for Booklist. So do the editors at Booklist. And they really do love to have as many real life library workers on call to review as possible.

So they took all the most common questions and combined it with an explanation as to the philosophy behind their reviews and made a webinar. Click here on on the screen shot above to enter and watch it.

There is an application process, but this webinar is great because it is all of the basics from some of the editors, all in one place.

Please, even if you don't have any desire to review books for Booklist, I would still highly recommend watching because they go over what a Booklist review looks like. It will explain how you can use that review to help the reader in front of you, not just make purchases.

It is an extremely useful tool for any library worker.

And finally, I highly endorse and agree with everything they have said. Working for Booklist is very fulfilling and fun.  If you have questions after watching the video, feel free to contact me as well as the editors. I realize that contacting me may seem less scary and I am willing to help out.
