In the Company of Liars by David Ellis
Honeymoon by James Patterson and Howard Roughan
And, Tell No One by Harlan Coben, which is a sure bet for anyone who enjoys a good suspense novel. In fact, Coben's stand-alone suspense novels are all excellent.

I've not heard of David Ellis -- will have to give him a look. I have always loved Nora Roberts (though she's veering way too far in her more recent paranormal series -- haven't been able to get into them) and am awaiting her newest. Coben is good, too.
