Student Annotations: Adrenaline Genres

Last night we talked about the fast-paced adrenaline genres of Adventure, Suspense, Romantic Suspense, and Thriller.

I love this class because the books are so similar on the surface, but when you really look at the specific nuances of how and why readers enjoy books in these genres, you understand how different they can all be.

It always provides an "ah ha" moment for the students and makes the rest of our journey through the genres much easier.

Here are the posts on what my students read for the week over on their Word Press blog.
