A year ago this week, I attended a great program, sponsored by RUSA, at the ALA Annual Conference in Chicago. Entitled "Things That Go Bump in the Stacks," and moderated by Neil Hollands, the program was broken into 2 distinct parts which I honored in my posts.
Part 1 was a short lecture by Neil on what makes something "paranormal" as opposed to more pure horror. While Part 2 was a panel discussion by three popular paranormal authors: Charlie Huston, Marjorie Liu, and Charlaine Harris.
