RA for All Virtual Roadshow Visits and Sponsors ILA Annual

Tuesday-Thursday of this week is the Illinois Library Association Annual Conference and it is virtual once again.

RA for All is a Silver Sponsor of the entire event. I love sponsoring my home state's library association conference and am proud to be a part of it in this way. This year, I have a slide show that will run before my sponsored panels [which are also the three panels I am presenting in]. You can view that slide show here. It is like the first RA for All commercial.

You can click here to see the full schedule even if you are not attending. You can also click here to sort by my appearances as a speaker.

Today, I am happy to report that Robin Bradford is making her triumphant return to her home state with me in tow as we present our Actively Anti-Racist Service to Leisure Readers during 2 session slots this afternoon.

These two sessions together are a part of our condensed but still interactive programming option. From the Actively Anti-Racist page here on the blog:

Option 2: Becky and Robin can do a shortened version of the above in a 2-3 hour block. Becky and Robin will present shortened versions of their foundational lectures  [60 mins] and then facilitate a live Q&A. If 3 hours, there will be a break and time for an exercise.

For the first session today, Robin and I will spend 30 mins each on the foundational information. Here is the link to Robin's slides and here is the link to my slides.

Then after a break, we return and will take an entire hour of questions live!

I hope to see some of you there.

And please note, this is a 4 presentation week. 2 today, one non ILA tomorrow, and ILA again Thursday, so the blog is all appearance based, but don't forget, the Horror blog is going strong with 31 Days of Horror every day this month. Click over there for 4 Why I Love Horror Essays this week!
