2021 Best Books: Library Journal

This post is part of my year end "Attack of the Best Lists" coverage. To see every post in my "Best Books 2021" series you can use the best lists tag
Today the Library Journal Best Books 2021 portal went live. There are 144 titles across 15 categories highlighting the essential books of the year.

LJ’s Best Books of 2021 celebrate titles to treasure, indelible works that build and shape collections. They offer reads of solace and community, insight and joy.

I was part of the Horror team with my editor, Stephanie Klose. We based our list off of the work of the entire Horror review team.

While there is no easy backlist access, there is a downloadable spread sheet of all of the Best Books.

Below are the categories. Each category is linked to the full list.
