Also last week, the ALA's GLBT Round Table announced a new "Over the Rainbow Committee." From their press release:
The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered Round Table of the American Library Association announces the establishment of the Over the Rainbow Committee. The committee is charged with creating an annual bibliography of titles of interest to adult readers that reflect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer (LGBTQ) experiences. The first ALA Over the Rainbow Books list will be announced in January 2011.This will become a great tool for collection development and for helping patrons. I can't wait to see the first list.
And, my favorite gay literary resource, as I had said before, and I will say again, is I'm Here. I'm Queer. What the Hell Do I Read? Check it out!
