ALA 2013 Chicago is Coming...

Before I got caught up in ALA logistics, I thought I would have a quick post about ALA Annual.  I understand that not all of you can go.  I am lucky to live right off the highway that runs directly into McCormick Place and only have a 10 mile commute, but I have been on the other side of the coin and missed a conference I have really wanted to attend.

So, I will try to have posts about the conference that give everyone the chance to access interesting information.

Also, during the conference (over the weekend) and into the holiday week after, I hope to have notes, info, and pics up with many posts. This will serve two purposes. First, I can help those of you who aren't there to get something positive and useful out of my experiences.  And second, I can use the posts as my work required report on the conference.

Let's start with some links that are useful both for people attending the conference and those who will be chillin' at home (or working for those of use who are at the conference).
Leave any links of your own in the comments.  I am especially interested in those of you who want to share your schedules with me and my readers.  Leave the link to your ALA Connect Schedule in the comments too. Also, if you want to promote a program to my readers, I encourage you to leave that information in the comments too.  Even better if you have links to your handouts too.

It is going to be crazy but fun in the library world over the next week.

I do hope I get a chance to say hello! This will be my first ALA, and I am so excited to meet all the internet colleagues I know. My schedule is http://ala13.ala.org/user/110538.

Thanks for sharing Kristi! I hope we meet up. I also wanted to post the great handouts for 20 Programs Under $20 that are now available at http://ala13.ala.org/node/10082.

I was a bit cranky about having to get up early for this 8:30am program, but these handouts look great.
