If you are headed to ALA Annual at the end of June here in Chicago, now is the time to start looking at your schedule and figuring things out. To help, I am going to start posting programs I think are worth your time if you work with leisure readers.
And bonus, I will be at many of the programs I am promoting here.
Today I want to begin with LibraryReads's slate of programming throughout the conference. This year is also LibraryReads' 10th Anniversary and at every LR event, they will have free giveaway items with their brand new logo. Oh, and like always, lots of paper arcs of all of the books they are featuring.

Even if you are a big LR voter or fan, I promise, you will learn something in this podcast, especially how they have changed over the last decade in order to better serve their mission of demonstrating the worth of library workers in the book promotion and sales machine. I highly encourage everyone who can, ge down to McCormick place for 1 day. Even if you have to pay for it yourself, it is totally worth it. There is also a lot of book based programming in the exhibit hall itself.
