I am back to a full week of work for the first time since June 25th. I have been piecing together my bare minimum of tasks since then. It has been exhausting but worth it. And I realize many of you haven't even noticed, but believe me, my blog drafts folder has.
Since this is my first full week back since I left for ALA Annual, I thought it would be fun to close that loop by posting Library Journal's full report of the conference here:
Hot Days, Hotter Topics | ALA Annual 2025
And now, moving on. I have a lot of larger think pieces planned, presentations to promote, oh, and a book coming out in 2 months with a fairly hefty book tour scheduled to promote it through September, October, and even into November.Coming soon, I will have posts about events and ways for you to order signed books from places where I am appearing even if you cannot attending. But in the meantime, your library needs at least one copy.
All of this means that the blog is going to be worth your time every day for the next few weeks.
As always, contact me if you have an idea you want to share or you have something you would like me to post about.
